What is ecoBiz NT?
When most people think of keeping their business clean, obvious: washing windows, vacuuming floors, and recycling paper.
But there is another way for Territory businesses to clean up their act - and save big bucks by doing so.
And all they have to do is sign up for ecoBiz NT: a free Northern Territory Government advice program and government rebate scheme.
ecoBiz NT aims to help local small to medium enterprises achieve cost savings by improving their environmental efficiency.
This is done by conducting a site survey to identify ways to save! Some businesses and projects may be eligible to receive a grant of 50 per cent up to a maximum of $20,000 to assist them to implement eco-efficiency improvements.
Improvements businesses can make can be as simple as switching to energy efficient light bulbs, upgrading air conditioning systems, reducing waste, and improving productivity methods.
