Six Steps to ecoBiz NT

Step
1

JOIN
Complete the ecoBiz NT application form. You will then
be contacted and provided with an ecoBiz NT toolbox. An
ecoBiz NT Officer will guide you through the remaining
five steps detailed in the toolbox.

2

ASSESS
A baseline assessment will be completed with you to
determine your resource consumption (energy, water and
materials).

Step
3

SURVEY
A site survey of your business will be conducted with you
using the toolbox provided to identify infrastructure and
fittings that use energy, water and materials.
Receive a deduction on your Power and Water electricity
bill.

Step
4

PLAN
An ecoBiz NT action plan that sets out how you are going
to make your business more eco-efficient will be made.
This may simply mean a new way of doing things, or it may
require changing a process or investing in new technology.

5

IMPLEMENT
You will begin implementing your ecoBiz NT action plan.
Gain ecoBiz NT partnership status.

Step
6

RE-ASSESS
Your progress will be reviewed by a re-assessment which
is then compared with your baseline assessment to see the
benefits of the changes you have made.
